As a mother and health care professional, I am always looking for products to use on my family and to recommend to patients. My son has very dry, eczema prone skin. It is not unusual for him to have several rashes at once, which usually become secondarily affected by staph infections. We have only found three products which have been mild enough not to sting his incredibly delicate and volatile skin: Aquaphor, Crisco and Gabriel Couzian. Without doubt, the Gabriel Couzian washing oil is the best cleansing product we have found for our son. It is mild, non-stinging and non-drying. The whole family loves it. Not to mention, it is very pleasant smelling and easy to use. After bath time, we have found that the Gabriel Couzian Highly Nourishing Body Cream is excellent. It is very rich and emollient without being greasy. Unlike both Aquaphor and Crisco, I don't worry about my son touching furniture or bed linens when he uses the Gabriel Couzian products. Additionally, unlike the other two (which are oil based), the Highly Nourishing Body Cream penetrates the skin and feels non-greasy to the touch ... which my son really likes. We are very glad to have found these products and would highly recommend them; particularly to people with extremely dry and sensitive skin. I have even used this product on our 8 month old baby.
